Bedrooms and kids’ rooms
In a bedroom you want the blinds down, the heating right and the lights off without getting up. In a child's room you want them to have their own lights and a nightlight, and nothing else to wander into.

The case for Switchboard
- Replaces the switches by the door and the thermostat on the landing. The lights, blinds and the room’s heating are on the remote by the bed.
- A child’s remote shows only their room. Give it a layout with their lights, their nightlight colours and their speaker. There’s nothing on it that turns off the rest of the house.
- Plain English, big buttons. Children who can read Bedtime and Nightlight can use it. Younger ones learn where the buttons are.
- Dark at night. E-ink doesn’t glow, so it doesn’t light up the room or keep anyone awake. The shade lights it only when you need it.
- A month on a charge. It lives on the bedside table, not on a cable.
Setting it up
Give each bedroom its own remote layout. The Climate page controls the room’s heating zone.
